
Want to Be a Texas Game Warden? Check Out This Summer Internship

Texas has some of the most beautiful outdoor areas in the world. Some of the luckiest folks in the entire Lone Star State get to call that big, open sky and splendor beneath it their office. Just imagine clocking in just before you put the boat in the water and cruising around all day or driving of into the woods somewhere in the glorious Texas wilderness as your job!
If that sounds like the dream job for you, why don't you take it for a test spin? According to a report from FOX 7 Austin, Texas Game Wardens are looking for 12 paid interns for the summer of 2022. The individuals selected for the Law Enforcement Student Paid Internship Program is designed for interested college students pursuing a career as a Game Warden.
The official job posting lists the following requirements for the position:
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited college or university or recent graduate within the last 6 months;
- Minimum of 60 completed semester credit hours from an accredited college or university at time of application;
- Must have an overall grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 grade point scale or "Pass" on a Pass/Fail system
