The Chica & The Bald Guy Teacher of the Week is Sandra Willis

Every week, Chica & the Bald Guy search the Shreveport/Bossier City area (commonly referred to as the SBC) for your favorite teacher.  Every single person who chooses the teaching lifestyle does so knowing that they will most likely never get rich for it.  The fearless men and women that face a class full (or more) of our kids day in and day out deserve much more than they get.  It is in that spirit that we seek to recognize one educator a week who goes above and beyond the call of duty for her students!  This week that exemplary teacher is Hughes Springs High School's Sandra Willis!

Sandra was nominated by one off her biggest fans!  Refugio Lopez had this to say about Mrs. Willis:

"She is my favorite educator because she always went above and beyond. She is the chapter adviser for HS DECA chapter and through DECA, she helped me flourish from a shy freshman girl, to the confident woman I am today. She even encouraged me to become a vice president of the chapter and get me out of my comfort zone. She is like a second mother to me, she is one of the sweetest woman ever to exist. I will forever be grateful for everything she did for me in high school. She is truly a blessing.
