The Road Less Traveled – Driving Home in Snow
Well the topic on everybody's mind here in the sbc is the weather. So, lets talk about it a second. It's cold, wet, and slippery.
I took that picture at the corner at Youree and Stoner on my way home from work today. That's what a good chunk of the roadways looked like. Ice and water. It looked and was pretty slick in places I drove super slow and took it easy. I still ended up slipping around in places, mainly the least traveled roads of my ride which is the lead in to my neighborhood, I mean it was super slick. But in the end I made it home with no problems. So I've got that going for me which is nice.
I took a picture of the absolute scariest part of my journey home I-20 got off on Market and Spring to head south on Youree when I was white knuckling the steering wheel. When I thought "Hey, I should take a picture of this."
Stuff of a southern person's nightmares. 50 feet in the air on an overpass. Roadway completely white with snow.
Why would I do that.
