The Savior of LSU Football Could Be… Nick Saban? [OPINION]

It's a bit of a stretch, but I think you're going to like my reasoning.

Nick Saban is the face of a brand new Mercedes... van. It's called the "Nick Saban Signature Series Mercedes-Benz Sprinter" and it's the latest release from the German car manufacturer. 15 of these vans will be sold. The price tag is $200,000.

And LSU needs to buy one. Or a even a few.

LSU profited millions off of the football team last year alone. It's a mega money maker. So shave a little of that money off the top and invest it in a few of buses.

Then you demolish it.

I'm thinking old school rivalry techniques here. What was more fun than decorating an old beat up car in your rivals colors and then selling tickets to the student body to beat up with a baseball bat? What LSU fan is not going to want to smash up a "Nick Saban Signature Series blah, blah, blah...?" I think the line to take a swing would stretch from Shreveport-Bossier all the way to Tuscaloosa.

Surely, you would earn back your investment and then some.
