The Wait is Over for Bossier City. Bossier Finally Has a Southern Classic Chicken.

Our community has been eagerly waiting for the opening of Southern Classic, up until now we had no idea when the chicken hot spot would open up.

Luckily for Us the Contractors Who Built the Newest Southern Classic Posted an Update for Us.

Testament Construction Services LLC took to their Facebook page to share the good news and said "We put the finishing touches on the newest location for Southern Classic Chicken on Airline Drive today, and tomorrow they officially open for business. We love their new look and wish them the best on their launch day!"

What's the story behind the success of Southern Classic Chicken?

For the past 35 years, Southern Classic has been a staple in Louisiana. The restaurant was founded in 1989 by brothers Howard and Leon Fanning. 2019 was a big year for the Fanning family, they decided to give franchising a try. Southern Classic Chicken now has 17 restaurants located throughout Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas with plans to expand even more with new locations in the New Orleans area, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Texas.

Where Is the New Southern Classic Chicken in Bossier City?

The new Southern Classic will sit on the corner of Airline Drive and Old Minden Road, where there used to be a satellite lot for Chevyland. The address is 1940 Airline Drive. All we need to know is that there is about to be a lot of traffic due to long lines. So get ready.
