March 19th was a sad day in Shreveport-Bossier. It was the day that the TJX Companies, the parent company of TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and HomeGoods closed all of their stores and they even suspended all online sales. Where were we supposed to go and sniff candles and waste our paychecks?

If you're like me you probably drove by and often wondered when the green light would shine on our coveted store. Yesterday my partner got home and yelled "Are you ready for some TJ Maxx action?" First off, the answer is always "yes". So we went out to stand in line.

TJX Companies came out and said in a press release that they plan to reopen all stores by the end of June. The good news is that Shreveport-Bossier's wait to reopen was not nearly as long as most of the national stores. Now, remember, you'll have to wait in line, but the line goes by pretty fast. There is a limit of 84 people in the store, and the staff in the Bossier store did an excellent job getting people in and out.
