Whether legal or not, some form of gambling happens in every state across the country.
I'm not here to judge you on whether you gamble or not. To be honest, it doesn't matter to me. Everything in moderation, I say. And according to WalletHub, gambling takes place in every state in this great nation, including Hawaii and Utah where it is illegal.
Heck, some people even make a living off of playing the odds.
There are situations however, where the gambling bug can start to get out of hand. WalletHub says that gambling addictions effects just over 2 percent of our adult population. This is more prevalent in some states over others.
The list "States Most Addicted to Gambling" was compiled by WalletHub using data covering 15 key metrics. These include the presence of illegal gambling operations, lottery sales per capita, and more. It's no surprise that Nevada came out on top of this list. Whether it's organic or due to tourists is yet to be determined, but there are definitely plenty of options available.
