See Damage in Northeast Louisiana from Tornado
Northeast Louisiana is hard hit by the late night storms. The Jackson Parish Sheriff's Department has jumped into high gear to help those impacted.
The sheriff says "If your house has been damaged from the storm, tarps will be issued out at the Jackson Parish Community Center on Industrial Drive."
The Shreveport Volunteer Network rushed to the area to help clear trees and do what is needed to help the victims of the storms. They found damage to several homes and businesses.
Multiple trees are down and a tree has fallen on a mobile home near Walker Rd.
Late in the evening several roads were blocked by down trees, but early Tuesday, the Sheriff's Office sent out this alert:
"We have all major roads open in Jackson Parish. There are still several power lines down over the roads, and trees on the edge of the road. If you have to be one the roads please watch for debris."
