UPDATE:
Tonight, all my hopes were dashed of getting out for a night of decadent indulgence when I got the call that the Easterseals Chocolate and Champagne event had been canceled. I got the call from Easterseals Louisiana board member Theresa Miller who was sad to break the news. Because the state of Louisiana is not moving on from phase two of economic recovery in time for the event, the board and the management of Margaritaville didn't feel comfortable hosting the annual fundraiser, that had already been rescheduled once from it's original date in March. The next Easterseals Chocolate and Champagne event will be held on March 27, 2021, so mark your calendars now! Meanwhile, I'm quite sure they would appreciate your support in the form of a donation. They have many opportunities for you to give, which you can read about here.

ORIGINAL POST:
