As temperatures continue to fall across most portions of the U.S., chances are many of you are starting to crave some dishes that will heat you up a bit.

Well, this Warm Gumbo Dip will definitely do the trick.

Borrowed from our friends at Southern Living, this creamy dip includes everything that makes gumbo so darn irresistible. From chopped shrimp to bell peppers to Creole seasoning, this recipe is chock full of some delectable delights. And just when you think it's plenty good, you top it with Parmesan cheese to make it extra gooey.

There is really nothing else quite like it.

It’s the perfect dish for a tailgate party or a holiday get-together. Heck, you can even celebrate National Gumbo Day on Oct. 12 by making up a batch of it to enjoy all by yourself.  But don’t serve this one with just chips. Make sure to get some toasted French bread baguette slices for dipping.

You can thank us later.
