This Week is a Week to Celebrate in Shreveport-Bossier.

It's a week that our community is loud and proud about celebrating our locally owned and operated restaurants. There has never been a more important time to support our restaurants. Shreveport-Bossier Is losing restaurants at an alarming rate. It seems like every week we see another restaurant announce they are closing. It's truly heartbreaking.

318 Restaurant Week is Our Reminder to Be Loud and Proud of the Restaurants We Love.

There are so many hidden gems all over town. I have found that the best restaurant experiences for me have been when someone sends me to a particular eatery for a certain dish.

Ki Mexico is a spot that will always entice me with a certain dish. I keep a close eye on their social media.

I discovered Greek Corner because someone recommended their Moussaka a traditional Greek eggplant casserole. It is layers of ground beef, or ground lamb, eggplant, and potatoes, it's topped with a delicious creamy béchamel sauce. There is a reason why this dish sells out fast at the Greek Corner. I had to get there early before the dish sold out for the night.
