Picture yourself alone working around the house while listening to music. Which song will make you stop in your tracks and put on a solo concert using your broom as a mic stand? Now, I have more than one song that inspires me to stop cleaning and working around the house, I mean, I'm doing chores, right? But there's one song above all others that will make me stop and sing at the top of my lungs to my dogs and that's Garth Brooks' Calling Baton Rouge. I'll hazard a guess and say that I'm like most Louisianians in that regard.

It's a good thing I live in the country because I also sing along to my iPhone on shuffle while I'm mowing. My poor neighbors were treated to a personal concert Tuesday while I was cutting the grass from artists like Hank Jr,. Miranda Lambert, the Pistol Annies, the Chainsmokers, Halsey, and more. It's a good thing we're naturally socially distanced out on the farm!

So I decided to ask my friends what songs make them stop and rock out! I think you can learn a lot about a person by what they listen to solo. It's kinda like my friend Chris Prest aka Maverick. He's a club DJ, but when he's on his own, he listens to Elvis! Plus, I want to find some tunes to add to my rotation!

Bon Jovi and Journey came up a lot in their answers. What's the song that makes you stop and jam? No judgment here, just please, please don't mention the Barney song! Check out some of the other answers in the post, add your own thoughts and as always, feel free to give me a follow!
