As someone who experiences anxiety and stress quite often I feel like I can talk freely about this subject. I recently found an article about some tips to relieve stress incredibly fast. So I put it to the test. Here is what I thought about Huffington Post's top 5 ways to stop stress in it's tracks.

1. Laugh

This definitely worked for me. However when I am stressed it is harder for me to find something that makes me laugh but my go to is any Chris Farley episodes from Saturday Night Live. I highly recommend when Farley and Patrick Swayze tryout to be Chippendale Dancers. Heck, just look at some pictures of Swayze.

2. Eat An Orange

According to Huffington Post, researchers have found that when taking in Vitamin C not only does it boost your immune system but it also helps with stress. It does this by lowering blood pressure therefore relaxing the body. Test result: no effect. Maybe I am just impatient.

3. Go Outside

I can see this as something that would help many people, not so much for me. I am allergic to everything under the sun including certain types of sun screen. So I resulted in looking at pictures of Patrick Swayze. Results were great. Totaly stress free.

4. Rub On Rose Oil

Who has Rose Oil laying around?

5. Walk In to Another Room

This actually worked for me. Huffington Post said that this works because of the slight shift of environment causes your brain resets itself. I can understand that.

In the end of my small experiments, I know what works for me when it comes to stress. With just a little patience and knowing what you like and what makes you comfortable can help find your go to solution to relieving stress.
