It's Not Just the Media's Habit of Reporting the Bad News - Shreveport really is Dangerous
I know that the news only focuses on the murders, shootings, gang activities, robberies, and the like. You may think that our city only seems dangerous because that's all you hear about. While that is a fair point, the data doesn't lie. The Numbers That Show Shreveport's Violent Side Don't Lie
The "data" I'm referring to comes from the FBI’s 2020 Uniform Crime Report. The feds collect every last scrap of information on crimes then crunch the numbers to find out which place is the most dangerous.
It's Not Just Shreveport, Louisiana is Full of Dangerous Cities
The 3 cities that the Federal Bureau of Investigation has found to be more dangerous than the Ratchet City in 2020 are: Lake Charles at #16 with 789 violent crimes per 100,000 people, Alexandria at #9 with 963 violent crimes per 100,000 people, and Monroe at #2 with a whopping 1,309 violent crimes per 100,000 people.
