Ever wonder which celebrity died the year you were born? Well, good news! BuzzFeed has a list for that, because let's be real, BuzzFeed has a list for pretty much everything.

I can honestly say that I've never sat there thinking about which famous people passed away in 1988, but if BuzzFeed wants to make a list that tells me I will 100% look at it. And, in case you're curious, Roy Orbison is the celeb they chose for 1988. Not gonna lie, I had to Google him.

BuzzFeed only picked one famous persons death for each year from 1946 to 2011. Why only one? I have no idea, but they did say "It's like your souls are linked". Kind of creepy, but I guess kind of cool?
