Which New Movie Topped This Weekend’s Box Office?

Three new films hit theaters this weekend, but who came out on top?

Turns out it was The Conjuring 2, which debuted at No. 1 with an estimated $40.3 million, in line with its 2013 predecessor, which debuted with $41.8 million.

Another newcomer, Warcraft, came in second with $24.3 million, while Now You See Me 2 debuted in third place with $23 million.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (4th, $14.8 million) and X-Men: Apocalypse (5th, $10 million) rounded out the top five.
