This is the time of year in which people love to be scared. It's the spooky season. And while I'm not particularly fond of horror films, I have several friends who love to settle in with a big bowl of popcorn and get their adrenaline pumping.

Needless to say, I don't get invited to those get-togethers.

Some movies are gory, while some are suspenseful. And each fan has a favorite. Insider compiled a list of the Most Popular Horror Movie in Every State to tell us which ones are most likely being watched this year.
