Meet Jon Abrahams at Geek’d Con Shreveport This August

Shreveport’s premier pop culture event, Geek'd Con, is officially set to return to the Shreveport Convention Center this summer. The 11th installment of the massive three-day convention will take place in Downtown Shreveport from August 14th through the 16th, 2026.

The event serves as the largest gathering of its kind in North Louisiana, and one of the biggest in the whole state. Geek'd Con offers a weekend of celebrity appearances, professional photo ops, and a massive vendor market. It continues to be the primary destination for fans of film, television, and comic books to gather for a professional convention experience.

Meet The Stars From The Scary Movie Franchise

This year's Geek'd Con event will be hosting some of the stars from the legendary parody franchise "Scary Movie", including the latest addition, actor Jon Abrahams!

Abrahams is best known to pop culture fans as Bobby Prinze in the genre-defining horror parody "Scary Movie." As Cindy's oblivious boyfriend, he delivered some of the most memorable moments of the cult classic movie...and he is officially set to reprise the role in the upcoming "Scary Movie" reboot this summer.

He joins our other Scary Movie guests, Shannon Elizabeth and Dave Sheridan...and Dave Sheridan is also returning to the franchise this year as Doofy/Ghostface...

In the realm of pure horror, he starred as Dalton Chapman in the 2005 dark thriller "House of Wax" and recently returned to the slasher genre as Dennis in the massive 2024 blockbuster "Terrifier 3." His deep genre resume also features roles in cult classics like "The Faculty" and "They."

Outside of horror, Abrahams played Denny Byrnes, the son of Robert De Niro's character, in the comedy smash "Meet the Parents." His expansive list of credits includes his feature film debut in the indie hit "Kids," major roles in "Boiler Room" and "My Boss's Daughter," a recurring run on "Boston Public," and an early appearance as a Naboo Flight Crew member in "Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace."

This year, Jon joined the MCU in this year's critically acclaimed Wonder Man. He plays one of Doorman's agents, Frank Preminger.
