We started playing Julia Michaels new single Issues several weeks ago and you might think she's new to the music scene but that's far from the truth! Julia moved to LA from Iowa around the age of 12 to pursue singing and songwriting.  She's been extremely successful in songwriting for years writing songs for artists like Demi Lovato, Fifth Harmony, Gwen Stefani, Zedd, Justin Bieber, Jason Derulo, Kelly Clarkson, Selena Gomez, Kygo, Years & Years, Zara Larsson, Nick Jonas, Rita Ora and Britney Spears.

Julia performed "Carry Me" with Kygo at the 2016 closing of the Rio Olympics.
