Colin Kaepernick first took a knee during the national anthem a few weeks ago to protest recent police shootings that he saw as discriminatory. It's a trend that many others have joined all over the country. And now, as of last week, we've seen an entire team outside of New Orleans do the same.

Last Friday, as seen above, The Bonnabel high football team took a knee but it's not known if they will do the same tonight. However, the Bonnabel Alumni Association has already announced that they'll be cutting support to the team as long as they continue.  The Association wrote an email stating "They will never understand what they have done, and are doing to destroy our country’s core values and beliefs and honor those that protect our rights."

Despite major backlash across the country, kneeling during the national anthem seems to be a growing protest. What are your thoughts? Is protesting during the anthem disrespectful or for a good cause?
