Women Veterans of the Ark-La-Tex Set to Build First Statue to Honor Female Veterans

According to news sources, a women's group, Women Veterans of the Ark-La-Tex will be building a life sized statue to honor female veterans in Bossier City.

As stated in their website the Women Veterans of the Ark-La-Tex mission is "to honor and assist women Veterans who have and continue to pave the way to freely serve our great country."

The statue will be on display at the Veterans Memorial at the Bossier City Municipal Complex. The Women Veterans of the Ark-La-Tex hopes that this will inspire everyone to learn more about women in the military.
