Would You Wait 10 Hours to Ride a Roller Coaster?
Harry Potter fans eager to ride the newest coaster at Universal's Islands of Adventure Wizarding World of Harry Potter waited 10 hours yesterday.
Can you imagine? I'm a super fan, but I wouldn't wait in a line that long. Too bad, they didn't all have time-turners like Hermoine!
According to Fox News, shortly after the park opened at 9:00 a.m. yesterday morning the line to ride Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure reached a 10 hour wait, which only reduced later as rain began to a five hour wait.
It does sound pretty magical for roller coaster. Riders get to choose whether they will ride in the bike, or the side car to experience the thrill ride which lasts about three minutes.
"It combines innovative coaster thrill moments with dark ride story moments, and the experience runs 3 minutes long, but people have been telling us it feels like a 5-minute ride just because of the diversity and thrills and story moments coming together," said Gary Blumenstein, creative director at Universal Creative, to My News 13.
