More fuel was added to speculation that "America's Got Talent" contestant Timothy Poe may have embellished his military record.

TMZ reports that a picture of a soldier shown during Poe's audition was that of an entirely different soldier altogether.

The man actually in the picture, Staff Sgt. Norman Bone, contacted TMZ about the case of mistaken identity, and he's not too happy about it.

"First thing that came to my mind was 'Why would this lying son of a b---- do this?'" Bone told the website. "I'm absolutely furious. Been seeing red all day."

During his audition, Poe claimed that a grenade blast left him with brain damage and a speech impediment. But a spokesman for the Minnesota National Guard refuteds Poe's claim, saying that while Poe was indeed in the service overseas, no record exists of the injury.
