‘Goosebumps’ Tops Weekend Box Office

Goosebumps, based on a series of children's novels by R.L. Stine, debuted at No. at the box office this weekend with an estimated $23.5 million.

The Martian dropped down to second place after two weeks at No. 1 with $21.5 million, while Steven Spielberg's Bridge of Spies, starring Tom Hanks, debuted in third place with $15.3 million.

Newcomer Crimson Peak ($12.8 million) and Hotel Transylvania 2 ($12.2 million) rounded out the top five.
