Kids Night Scheduled To Benefit Landry Jo Clark’s Family

A few weeks ago, we introduced you to a local two year old who was battling cancer. Landry Jo Clark was an absolute warrior taking cancer head on, but with tears in my eyes, I wanted to let our listeners know that Landry is no longer with us. Two days ago, Landry gained her wings and now doesn't have to life with her pain and suffering. Looking through most of her pictures over the last few hours, you can feel that this girl was special. She was a fighter and never seemed to lose her happy spirit. I never got to meet Landry personally, but I can tell you that this sweet girl meant a lot to a lot of people, and she will be severely missed.

Today, I was made aware of a pretty incredible event being held in her honor. The event will help raise money for Landry's family during this incredibly difficult time. As a parent of two young girls, I can't imagine what her family is going through, but I can promise I'll be there with my two little girls celebrating Landry.

Friends and family of Landry have organized a Kids Night inviting all parents to either drop off their kiddos on location and get a rare date night, or stay and watch your little ones have an absolute blast.

Kids Night takes place on Friday, October 14th, at the Christus Schumpert Healthplex.

The children attending will have so much to do including a bounce house, rock wall crafts, basketball, baseball, dodgeball, a jungle gym, snacks, and much more! For your little one(s) to enjoy this amazing night, all you have to do is make a $10 donation to Landry's family!
