The animated family film "Monsters University" stayed at No. 1 in this week's box office with an estimated $46 million while "The Heat", starring Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock debuted in second place with $40 million.

"World War Z" starring Brad Pitt came in third with $29.8 million, while "White House Down" brought in a disappointing $25.7 million.
