One Person Faints in Line at New Forever 21 Store at Pierre Bossier Mall
A crowd of more than 300 people showed up for the grand opening of "Forever 21" in Bossier City. One person did faint during the event, prompting Bossier Firefighters to respond to the crowded store.
Forever 21 opened the doors to the Pierre Bossier Mall store to an excited crowd of fans. The line to get in wrapped all the way over to Dillards. They even hired a DJ to entertain the crowd in the store.
The Los Angeles-based apparel chain will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The store will feature Forever 21's line of apparel and accessories.
Forever 21 had a host of grand opening events including gift card giveaways To the first 300 people in line.
Prior to the grand opening, Rouse Properties issued a statement regarding the grand opening of Forever 21:
"We are thrilled to officially open Northwest Louisiana's first-ever Forever 21 location and enhance our existing lineup of retailers with one of the nation's most recognized fashion concepts. We are also excited that H&M is opening this fall at our sister property Mall St. Vincent, which will be the global fashion retailer's first in the Shreveport/Bossier City market. These are both strong additions to the newly renovated Pierre Bossier Mall and Mall St. Vincent, which we believe are now well positioned to attract first-to-market retailers and higher-quality, sought-after brands."
H&M opens this fall.
