It never ceases to amaze me how terrible people can be.  Over the weekend, some sad excuse for a human killed a dog - which is bad enough.  The heinous nature of this crime makes it clear, the person(s) who did this are the worst.

This weekend in Webster Parish, a dog identified as "Faith" was apparently tied-up, taped-up, and thrown from a moving vehicle on eastbound I-20 near mile-marker 40 (Goodwill exit).  Unfortunately, Faith would succumb to the massive injuries sustained during the ordeal, even though Officer Winiarski with the Webster Parish Sheriff's Office and the un-named people that found the wounded animal rushed to nearby Claiborne Animal Clinic.  The authorities have confiscated the duct tape, rope, and collar used to restrain the dog.

In order to spur the public into action, the Webster Humane Association is offering a $1000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the "person or persons" involved in this horrific crime.  Call to give your information confidentially at 318-377-7433.
