April 1, 2013 I'm getting married in about two months, and my fiancé Holly LOVES the TLC show "Say Yes To The Dress." The last time she told me we had to watch the show (to which I said 'yes dear'), I noticed that this show is strikingly similar to what happened to a certain orphaned wizard.
So, what similarities did I see? Getting a wedding dress is actually a lot like Harry Potter's wand finding him.

Now that the ‘Harry Potter’ film series has ended after an eight movie run, Daniel Radcliffe is a boy wizard no more. And while the 22-year old does have a fairly successful dramatic stage career to fall back on, the world will get to see if he can also do comedy when he hosts ‘Saturday Night Live’ this weekend.
In one corner, we have ‘Twilight,‘ the mega-popular vampire romance that launched the careers of Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.
In the other, we have ‘Harry Potter,’ the fantasy book series that gave us eight hit movies and made Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson household names.

December 21, 2011 I found an infographic that will offend every fan of Twilight to be considered a nerd ... and every fan of everything else that will be just as offended if not more so for twilight to be included on it.
Twilight has more fans than Star Wars, Star Trek, Dr. Who, and Pokemon combined. Granted Harry Potter was the big winner. Check it.
Maybe you’ve completely devoured all of the ‘Harry Potter’ films but need a refresher.
