Wine & Whine: A Dog Park Art Affair

How cool is this?!?!? It's a fundraiser for the proposed dog park at Hamel Memorial Park! You can bring your pup (or pups!) and stroll through the garden and indoor theater area of the Karpeles Museum where they'll have great art on display. There will be works from local artists on display and for sale. In addition to paintings and prints, they'll have photographs, pillows, jewelry and more! In addition, you'll be able to purchase prints of Sheriff Prator's dog park painting. The prints will be signed and numbered and he will be onsite for a while to personalize the prints. They are asking for a $30 donation for the 'Prator Prints.' There will also be special selections by Shreveport based LA Society of Animal Artists. Check this out, you can even purchase artwork from the chimps at Chimp Haven! Locals Love Us will also be on hand to present a $1,000 check to the Shreveport Dog Park Alliance at 5pm.
