Sharks on a beach are never a fun thing to witness or even see in pictures.

The Navarre Beach Fire-Rescue snapped a picture earlier this week that may leave some of you second guessing that trip to the Florida panhandle.

They posted photos on Facebook showing a 13-foot hammerhead splashing not too far from land. As you can see in the pictures, either no one was in the water at the time or everyone jumped out once they spotted the fish!

Either way, hammerheads do not actively seek out human prey, but they are very defensive and will attack when provoked.

Good to see no one messed with them!
