Shreveport Aquarium Takes Us Behind the Scenes for Shark Feeding

The Shreveport Aquarium may be closed for the time being, but they are still hard at work caring for our animals.

We've seen many things close across the are for the time being. It's hard to see so many businesses lock those doors. Some are getting creative with entertaining and keeping us engaged. Thanks to social media this is a lot easier to do.

The Shreveport Aquarium is reminding all of us that at this time they are #ClosedButCaring.

Their animal husbandry staff is on site caring for the animals and they're even letting us in behind closed doors. Recently a staff member named Kayla invited us behind the scenes to watch her feed the sharks. Coronavirus or not, these sharks are hungry! She also took questions from the online audience which made the entire experience educational as well.

We miss our aquatic animals during this time, but videos like this are helping us get through. Thank you, Shreveport Aquarium!
