This weekend is the annual Pooches at the Pond with Mudbugs Hockey, the only time a year that everyone is welcome to bring their pet dog along with them to George's Pond in Shreveport for one night. Well if after the game your pup has the itch to get out of the house more often, here are possibly some of the absolute worst places in the area for you to take your canine companion.

Interstate 20 in Bossier City

This one feels obvious, but one of the worst places you could take your dog in the greater Shreveport area would be I-20 at the moment. With constant construction and packed roads any dog is sure to be a little overwhelmed by the noise, also why would you take your dog to the interstate in the first place?

LSU Health Shreveport

Service dogs are a wonderful thing in the medical world, providing support to those in need throughout their personal lives while also providing them with the joy of a pet that so many of us have come to love. But being useful to those in the field doesn't mean all dogs would have a great fit in the halls of LSU Health Shreveport.

Not to mention if there's any sort of medical operation going on a dog is not the cleanest subject in any given room, so injection would be a little more than just a concern. So until your dog makes it into med school, let's keep them away for now.

Pooches at the Pond will be this Friday, March 14th at George's Pond. For the 9th year, your dog can come to watch the Shreveport Mudbugs play hockey in their hometown. Find ticket details at tickets.georgespond34.com
