Amy Poehler To Appear In Super Bowl Ad

It's a long way from Pawnee, IN to the Golden Globes to the Super Bowl, but Amy Poehler made it!

The "Parks & Recreation" star will appear in a commercial for Best Buy during the Super Bowl, the electronics store announced Wednesday.

When asked for details on the commercial, a company spokesperson would only say that Poehler would bring "the Best Buy story to life for millions of football and advertising fans in a very funny and compelling way."

Best Buy senior VP of digital and marketing Scott Durchslag added, "Amy Poehler's Golden Globe performance left us all wanting to see more of her. We are thrilled to feature her in our commercial this year and bring the public another dose of her unparalleled humor." 

The Super Bowl airs Feb. 3 on CBS (KSLA-TV).
