Arkansas Man Charged With 2,000 Counts of Child Porn
According to a press release from the Hot Springs Police Department's Facebook page, and corroborated by Ark-La-Tex Homepage, 51 year old Randall Allen Morris is now facing 2000 counts of child pornography. The accusations stem from the data gathered when officials scoured several digital devices the former Flossie's Funnel Cakes employee after he was arrested in December on embezzlement charges. He has been in the the Garland County Jail since December 28th on suspicion he stole $199,000 from his former employer.
After he was fired, one of his former co-workers reportedly made a startling discovery on his work computers. Investigators from the State Crime Laboratory would find more than 2,000 images and videos of "sexually explicit material involving a child."
Morris has a date in court this week for a plea arraignment on the theft charge, but no date has yet been reported for the child porn charges. His bond in the new case has been set at $1 Million.
