This morning when I was discussing local news and what was happening around town. We talked about the mother who chased down these strange men who took off with her car with her baby in the back. She eventually chased the guys down, and got her car and baby back. See the full article here.

She lived on Bernstein Avenue. This caused me to remember this conspiracy about Berenstein vs. Berenstain. If you know nothing of this conspiracy theory I highly suggest you look it up, or follow me down this rabbit hole for a moment.

Let's get to the context:

The Berenstein Bears was a book series that started in 1962, and became a television series in the 1980s. The series eventually had a few computer games and there was talk for a movie adaptation in 2015, but no news has come out about that happening any time soon.

The whole conspiracy started when fans began to remember the series and refereed to the spelling as "Berenstein", but when researched the spelling was "Berenstain". This caused an uproar of confusion.

Even looking at old books and VHS taps, people were so confused.

The Conspiracy:

The theory is the Mandela Effect. If you google this thing, be warned! It is a rabbit hole that you can easy fall down it for hours. The Mandela Effect, it started when people couldn't remember if Mandela died in prison or not. Then people were so sure he died in prison, but the evidence shows he died in 2013.

The Mandela Effect is basically the result of a memory that you may have of a certain event or thing, but the details are blurred and you are fixed on what you see as the correct version of the details.

In Conclusion:

The conclusion is that we are stuck on a false memory with false details, according to the facts we have. I full hardheartedly remember the bears being Berenstein Bears.
