If you are like me and have plenty of candy leftover from Halloween be careful how you consume it. Huffington Post said that the Sugar Hangover is a real deal.

“Sugar hangovers are real in that you feel lousy after consuming a hefty dose of sugar,” Kim Larson, a registered dietitian nutritionist and spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics told Huffington Post.

The obvious solution is moderation. Be aware of how much you are eating and if you are consuming the majority of your sugars and calories from candy limit your other sources of sugars and caffeines like coke.

So whenever you feel the urge to splurge on that leftover Halloween candy be aware of how much you are eating.
