This might be the most 'Karen' thing you see all day, but folks are fed up and pissed off and there's no end in sight when it comes to the I-20 road construction project in Bossier City. Is it illegal for commercial vehicles to use I-20 in Bossier City inside the construction zone?

Why yes, yes it is. The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development says, 'In an effort to enhance safety and help ensure effective traffic flow, commercial vehicles such as 18-wheelers are prohibited from driving through the I-20 reconstruction zone in Bossier City. Previous messaging since the start of the project has strongly urged commercial traffic to utilize the primary detour of I-220, but this change will mean that vehicles not adhering to the detour may be issued a citation under Louisiana Revised Statute 32:237.'

I don't know about you, but that's pretty clear to me. If you're a commercial vehicle aka semi-truck, don't go there.

While it may seem like I'm picking on truck drivers, I don't mean to. Just the ones that can't read or obey traffic laws/signs. I appreciate truckers for making sure the shelves at my grocery store are full and all of the other wonderful things they do. The same goes for law enforcement and the LA DOTD. This is just frustration blowing off steam in what is hopefully a fun way!
