Bossier Parish 2025-2026 School Calendar: Key Dates to Know

Parents across Bossier Parish can start planning in advance now that the official Bossier Parish School Board calendar for next year is already here.

Important Dates For Bossier Parish Schools

The official first day of school for the 2025-2026 school year at Bossier Parish Schools will be August 7th, 2025.
Parents of kindergartners should know they don't start until August 14th, and parents of children starting Pre-K classes should be warned they won't start until August 21st.

LEAP testing dates are yet to be determined, but high school semester exams are set for December 16th through 17th and again from May 18th to the 19th.

AP Exams are currently scheduled for May 4th through the 15th.

The last day of school for students will be on May 19th which will also be the end of the 4th grading period.

High school seniors get their last day earlier, seeing the light at the end of the tunnel on May 5th.

2025-2026 Holiday Breaks For Bossier Schools

The following is a list of each holiday break for the upcoming school year, students are likely to memorize this better than the slope-intercept formula.

Bossier Schools divide the academic year into four grading periods, each with a week-long break at the end.

  • Start: October 13th
  • End: December 17th
• Quarter 3
  • Start: January 7th
  • End: March 6th
• Quarter 4
  • Start: March 16th
  • End: May 19th

After each quarter Bossier students are relieved to have a week-long break from school, and that will be the same in the 2025-2026 year.
