Bowling Alleys in Louisiana Set to Open in Phase Two
Bowling lovers rejoice, the alleys are close to open!
For those who don't know, bowling is one of my favorite things on the planet. Partially because it's one of the very few things I'm actually decent at. Don't believe me? Just ask local sports legend Tim Fletcher, who got handed a beating on the lanes courtesy of yours truly.
All kidding aside, I truly love everything that is bowling. My friends and I began bowling together shortly after high school, and still try to bowl once a week together. Fair warning, when the bowling Stones arrive, get your beer early because there won't be much left.
My buddies and I were excited today to learn that bowling alleys are indeed included in what will open during Phase Two for Louisiana. Prior to the Governor's announcement today, many expected bowling alleys and other recreational businesses to remain closed until Phase Three or at least somewhere down the line.
I had already braced myself for that unfortunate truth.
Then, out of nowhere, the Governer made a point to mention bowling alleys were indeed opening. Also included were tattoo parlors, swimming pools, pool halls, and skating rinks. Unfortunately, several of the things we love will remain closed which includes amusement parks and contact sports.
So, if you're an avid bowler like me, get ready to head back to the lanes very soon.
