Disability Employment is the Focus at New Shreveport Job Fair
Needing a new job is a difficult place in life. Weather you are unemployed, or you have to get a better job for whatever reason - the desperate searching and waiting. Days can seem like years when you are waiting for "the call." That's why one of the best opportunities for job seekers is a job fair. It's like shooting fish in a barrel - tons of representatives from companies that have job openings are there actively looking for a great potential employee! That's you my friend!
Trying to find a job if you are disabled can be an even bigger headache. That's why the 2017 Diversity Works Job Fair planned for Oct. 31 at the Wyndham Garden Inn is so important. Not only is it free and open to the public, but it also focuses on some of the hardest to find jobs. The fair will last from 9 am to noon, and it's all part of National Disability Employment Awareness Month. The month long focus has been brought to bear by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy.
