An attorney representing a Florida woman is taking legal action against Walt Disney World after the woman was injured on Disney property by what has been described as a "dive bombing" bird.

The suit alleges that Disney did not adequately warn the plaintiff, Lisa Dixon, about the dangers of bird attacks in certain areas of the park. According to reports Dixon was walking on a dock near the Seven Seas Lagoon when she was struck in the head by a bird.

Thomas Schmitt, the attorney representing Dixon told the Orland Sentinel newspaper his client was struck in the head with the force of a baseball. The attack resulted in a traumatic brain injury. The suit also claims the attack was responsible for two herniated discs in the victim's neck.

When asked about the allegations a spokesperson for Disney said, "We will respond to the allegations, as appropriate, in court". Dixon's attorneys are seeking unspecified damages in excess of $15,000.
