
This Popular West Coast Burger Joint Is Expanding to Louisiana for the First Time
Dog Haus, the California-based chain known for its massive burgers, gourmet hot dogs, brats, breakfast chimichangas, and beer, is set to make its Louisiana debut. The brand will be opening 3 new locations in the state as they make their first steps into Louisiana.

Where Will The New Dog Haus Locations Be?
The Dog Haus expansion into Louisiana will drop three new locations across the state, but for anyone north of I-10 in Louisiana, you'll have to make a trip to taste these gourmet sausages. Lake Charles, Lafayette, and Baton Rouge will all get a brand new Dog Haus location sometime in the future.

The current expansion of locations is also taking place in Texas, where three more locations are in development. The first of the Louisiana locations is expected to open sometime in the Spring of 2026.
What To Expect When Dining at the Dog Haus
Dog Haus has a huge menu, which, despite the name, isn't all about hot dogs. In fact it's not about hot dogs at all, because they call them Hausdogs. What makes Dog Haus different is the use of King's Hawaiin rolls for buns on a Hausdog, same with the Hausburgers and other sandwiches on the menu.
If a hot dog, or burger, or chicken sandwich, or even a slider with a King's Hawaiian roll for a bun doesn't entice you, maybe the all-day breakfast burritos will. The best part about these breakfast burritos is just how big these things are.
