Elderly Couple Caught with 60 lbs of Pot Intended for Gifts

This story is cracking me up. Imagine if these two were your grandparents. You are calling your folks to find out when the big holiday meet up is going to take place, and then you get the news that your Pop Pop and Granny have been arrested for hauling 60 lbs of marijuana.

According to New York Post, an 80 year old man and an 83 year old woman were arrested yesterday for hauling their illegal drugs across the country. The couple said that they were traveling from California and heading to Vermont. They were stopped in Nebraska.

When the couple was questioned why they were moving so much weed across the country they told the officers that the goods were Christmas gifts. No joke! You can check out the full story here.
