Elderly Woman Fights Through a Rainstorm to Return Shopping Cart [VIDEO]

Take a look people, this is what doing the right thing even when it's incredibly difficult looks like.

Granted,  I feel like if there's ever been a person in a situation that could get a pass on not returning a shopping cart, it's this elderly lady in the middle of a rainstorm.

Still, she was determined to do the right thing, and the internet is grateful.

Basically, once this gem of a human being finished unloading her groceries, she decided that she was already out in the beast of a storm, so she might as well return the cart. She did this while the rain was pouring and the wind was blowing like that of a category one hurricane, which is fitting, because this video comes from Hurricane, West Virginia.

So next time you go grocery shopping and you park directly next to a cart-return lane on a cool summer day, and think about not returning your cart, I hope you remember this sweet old lady.
