Shreveport Shocked! The Most Famous Guest in Geek’d Con History is a Rock Legend.
The biggest pop-culture comic-con event Shreveport has ever seen is hitting its 10th anniversary, and the whole time has brought awesome starpower to the 318 every August. In those years, some incredibly popular names in film, anime, gaming, music, and more have stopped by the show, but one stands above the rest as the most famous. Do you know which Geek'd Con guest is a world-famous superstar?
In 2015, when the first Geek'd Con stormed the Shreveport Convention Center, they brought the big guns from the start. Peter Mayhew, the original Chewbacca, was there with stars like Rob Paulsen and Jim Cummings. The names have just kept rolling with the years, names like Skeet Ulrich, Joey Fatone, Michael Rooker, Elvira, Matthew Lillard, and Kevin Smith have all proudly signed their name to a Geek'd Con poster.
With such a large cast of celebrities flying into Shreveport every August for a decade, the list of contenders for most popular guest is a long one. Considering Geek'd Con guests can range from pro-wrestlers to anime girls, it's hard to fairly judge who is more popular.
Even though it might look like a game of apples and oranges, the answer becomes incredibly obvious when you consider global attention. Though some Geek'd Con guests have been famous across international divides, only one has made truly global fame, unlike any other.
Alice Cooper is the most famous guest to have ever attended Geek'd Con in its first 10 years. Given that Cooper made his first worldwide album release all the way back in 1973, then had multiple world tours, and multiple award-winning albums, he is one of the most famous men to have ever stepped into Shreveport, period.
