The Starks Mayhaw Festival is making a return this year after having to take a year off in 2023. The three-day festival will take place in the North part of Calcasieu Parish in downtown Startks, Louisiana in May 2024.

The festival is full of great food, events, live music and so much more. The festival takes place at the Starks Community Pavilion located at 107 Highway 109 North in Starks, Louisiana. Why do they have a Mayhaw festival?

It is to celebrate the harvest of the Mayhaw fruit and the festival will have vendors from all around that will be selling locally made jelly and jam made from the Mayhaw fruit. You can taste some and here is your chance to buy some homemade Mayhaw jellies at the festival.
