
Caddo Deputies Arrest Man for Alleged Domestic Shooting Incident
Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office have arrested a Greenwood man after an investigation into domestic violence involving a firearm.
Last Friday, Detectives were assigned to investigate a domestic altercation involving 60 year-old Robert Mik and a victim.
Detectives learned, Mik and the victim became involved in a verbal argument inside their home. Mik allegedly went and got a Magnum revolver, pointed it at the victim, and intentionally shot several rounds into the floor beside the victim, as well as in the direction of the family dog.
A search warrant was obtained for the home, where detectives found the revolver believed to have been used in the incident. They also found several bullet holes consistent with the victim's account. During the investigation, Deputies determined that Mik had intentionally burned property belonging to the victim outside the residence.
After reviewing evidence collected during the search, investigators established probable cause to arrest Mik on charges of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm, Domestic Abuse Aggravated Assault, Illegal Use of Weapons or Dangerous Instrumentalities, and Simple Arson.
Robert Mik was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center.
