Two Arrested By Shreveport Police for Domestic Violence
The Shreveport Police Department has been working hard to hold domestic violence offenders accountable.
Earlier this week, officers arrested a woman in connection with a domestic violence incident that occurred in July. Detectives had issued a warrant for Catreece Madison’s arrest for one count of Domestic Abuse Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.
Madison is accused of stabbing her girlfriend during a fight. Madison was arrested without incident and now faces the charges associated with the outstanding warrant.
In a separate case, Shreveport Police also arrested Austin Greber following a domestic violence incident that occurred in 2024. During that incident, Greber allegedly grabbed a machete and attempted to slash a family member.
The victim was able to knock the weapon from Greber’s hands and escape before being injured. Following the incident, Greber evaded police and was believed to be living out of state.
Through continued efforts, Greber was ultimately found, captured, and extradited back to Shreveport, where he now faces charges of Domestic Abuse Aggravated Assault.
From SPD:
"The Shreveport Police Department takes domestic violence cases seriously and will continue working diligently to protect victims and ensure offenders are brought to justice—no matter how long it takes. Anyone experiencing domestic violence is encouraged to seek help and report incidents immediately."
