James Burton Announces Christmas Show at Margaritaville

Rock and roll hall of famer and musician extraordinaire James Burton is bringing us a Christmas treat!  This guitar-shredding, Shreveport native is the head of the James Burton International Guitar Festival that is, once again bringing Shreveport / Bossier City an awesome yule-tide show entitled: "A Louisiana Rockin’ Christmas"

World-famous guitarist James Burton has played with some of the biggest names in rock and roll history, like Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, and dozens of the greatest performers to ever grace a stage.  On December 8th, you can see the magic Mr. Burton brings for yourself on the Margaritaville stage.

The show will focus on James' work with the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley and will also feature guest performances from original tour members Estelle Brown and Sam Thompson.  

This annual show is a very important fundraiser for the non-profit James Burton Foundation.  This awesome organization provides free guitars to kids in schools, hospitals and civic programs in order to inspire people of all ages and walks of life through music.  In fact, several donated guitars will be given out to veterans during the show!
